The Labouchere betting system is a "cancellation" system in which you write down a series of numbers that represent a number of betting-units. You bet according to two betting-units each time, the first and last units of the series. Every time you win you "cancel" these two numbers, but if you lose you add a number to the series. When the series is complete you have a sure net profit, but sometimes this baccarat betting system might escalate too fast, but unlike the Martingale System the Labouchere betting system is considered more "safe" and allows you to be prepare for such escalation.
Choosing a series for the Labouchere betting system isn't strict and you may choose the numbers as you wish depending on your money management, bankroll and experience. For example you may choose a series as 1-3-4-5 or 1-1-2-2-3, it all depends on you.
Notice that the sum of the units represents your future profit: for a 1-1-2-3 series your net profit would be 7 units. When you come to pick a series make sure that it is easy for you to remember it so you won't get confused while playing baccarat (though when you play online baccarat you can simply write it down).
Pay attention to the two "outside numbers" – the first and the last numbers and make sure that their sum won't exceed the table's maximum or, if you want to be caution, twice that sum.

If you would have lost in the above example, then the series would have looked like this: 1-2-3-5-6.

The great advantage of the Labouchere betting system is that you can manage your profits and stick to them in every baccarat session you play. You can calculate your future profit by summing up the amount of units in your series, you can even predict what would happen if you'll lose few times in a row and determine if you play at the right table for such rapidly growing bets or if you have the bankroll to manage such series.
Also notice that you may invent you own variant of Labouchere betting system, that's another great advantage of it, it is very flexible and is open to numerous changes and it growths and adjust when you lose.
